How to Delete Your Account
To request deletion of your CraveX account and all associated data, please send an email to our support team with the following information:
Required Information
To process your account deletion request, please include the following in your email:
- Email Address: The email address associated with your CraveX account
- Account Username: Your username (if applicable)
- Subject Line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Reason (Optional): While not required, we'd appreciate feedback on why you're leaving
What Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile and personal information
- All progress tracking data and statistics
- Health data and craving logs
- Saved preferences and settings
- Community posts and interactions
- Any uploaded photos or content
- Subscription history (active subscriptions will be cancelled)
⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover your data, progress, or purchase history.
Timeline
Your account deletion request will be processed according to the following timeline:
- Confirmation: We will respond to your request within 48 hours to confirm receipt
- Verification: We may ask you to verify your identity for security purposes
- Deletion: Your account and data will be deleted within 30 days of verification
- Completion: You will receive a final confirmation email once deletion is complete
Data Retention
Please note that some information may be retained for legal or operational purposes:
- Legal Compliance: Transaction records and payment information may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
- Security: Logs related to fraud prevention or security incidents may be retained
- Backup Systems: Data may remain in backup systems for up to 90 days but will not be accessible
Active Subscriptions
Before Requesting Deletion:
If you have an active subscription, we recommend cancelling it before requesting account deletion:
- iOS Users: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → CraveX → Cancel Subscription
- Android Users: Go to Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → CraveX → Cancel Subscription
Account deletion will automatically cancel your subscription, but you will not receive a refund for the remaining subscription period.
Alternative: Temporarily Deactivate
If you're not sure about permanent deletion, you can temporarily deactivate your account:
- Go to Settings → Account → Deactivate Account in the app
- Your data will be preserved for 90 days
- You can reactivate anytime by logging back in
- After 90 days of inactivity, the account will be automatically deleted
